紐約時間1/6日下午6:00，美國武術家協會舉行紐約國際武術錦標賽記者會。本次錦標賽總指揮，美國武術家協會主席張良先生介紹；本次比賽以推動助力武術入奧運為主題；達致和諧和健康為我們的口號；本次錦標賽很榮幸邀請得到零八年北京奧運全能冠軍趙慶建先生為我們的代言人。而本錦標賽項目與內容將盡量依據奧運及國際比賽的規格為參考範疇標準。為運動員將來能參與國際武術比賽甚至乎將來可能的奧運項目作一個暖身緞練。

本次錦標賽總執行、紐約少林寺功夫中心校長，美國武術家協會常務副主席藍超海先生說：希望借著此次錦標賽能夠打響海外人士對中國武術的認識、以至推動與普及達致和諧和健康。美國武術家協會作為武術大家庭的一分子我們站在海外面向中國將全力以赴為中國武術助力入奧運貢獻一份的力量。

New York, NY,— US WUSHU MASTERS ASSOCIATION (USWMA) has announced today that the 3rd Annual New York International Wushu Championship officially opened to registration. The Championship event is to support Wushu become an official Game in the Olympics.

“This is an exciting time for wushu fans and masters all over the world. Our aim is to support Wushu to become officials in the Olympics,” said Peter Zheng, President and founder of USWMA. “The association is delighted to this meaningful event, as Wushu has held on Olympic Games in 2008 which was a great success. It is also grateful that we have gained so many supports from the community”

The press conference also invited a lot of community leaders, local chambers and associations joined and support.
The New York International Wushu Championship 2023 will take place on Fitzgerald Gym in Queens College on Saturday, June 247th 2023 from 8.00am-5:00pm. Address: 63-30 Kissena Blvd, Flushing NY 11367.
